He cannot read your texts from the online account, he can only see the numbers you text and what numbers text you.
Only if you have AT&T messages active on your phone can he see your texts by logging on to AT&T messages with your account info.

Plus he only sees numbers for texts, not iMessages. However, if he also has an iPhone, he may be able to see your iMessages if you are using the same iCloud account or if you have text message forwarding enabled. I wouldn't worry about ATT messages because you must turn iMessage off and actively log into ATT Messages to get it working on an iPhone.
