why if I block a number are they still able to leave a voicemail that I have to go in and clear?

We certainly understand, @frannyze.

Unfortunately, blocked callers will still be able to leave voicemails. However, our AT&T call protect app will stop the calls from reaching your voicemail. Check out this forums post on blocking voicemails for more information. Thanks for reaching out to us.

Good morning @frannyze,

Allow us to lend a helping hand. What kind of device do you have? Check out our AT&T Call protect app, the app provides multiple options for blocking unwanted calls. Thank you.

this doesn't help. Nothing on here tells me how to block their voicemails. the call doesn't ring through, but they still leave the voicemail.

This is super frustrating to me. I should be given the option for the blocked caller to know i have blocked them and also to refuse to receive voicemails from them. I have a telemarketer calling me every single day, even on weekends! and leaving me a voice message.

I have Call Protect but I still receive annoying calls. While I understand CP isn't going to catch every call, is there any way for us users to easily reject the call without the call going to voice mail? Leaving myself voice messages until my mailbox is full seems a bit drastic. Extra points for dumping the call and adding the caller to a Call Protect blacklist!
