how do I turn off att voicemail so that I can leave my local voice mail at 4 rings

Hey @griesel!

I can definitely get you taken care of and that AT&T voicemail removed from your account! Is there any reason on why you’re no longer wanting the voicemail on the phone?

To permanently remove the voicemail feature and delete your voice mailbox, you can:

Chat with us using the Chat button when available (not available for GoPhone).
Call 611 from an AT&T wireless phone.
Call 800.331.0500 (GoPhone customers call 800.901.9878).

It will need to be provisioned off of your account. It is a rather quick process and if there are any messages that you currently have saved, you will need to save them through a third-party application.
