Trying to get streamsaver but apparently my plan doesn't qualify?

I just spoke to someone from at&t and they told me my plan does not qualify for streamsaver. I have a family share 40 gb plan with 6 devices. She told me I could change to a new 40gb plan with a $20 higher price tag which would throttle me after 40gb. Or I could go unlimited with a $40 higher plan which would throttle me after 22gb. How can a gophone user get streamsaver but I can't? This seems silly. I should be able to get streamsaver on my plan if a gophone user can use it.

Greetings @Zellie,

Thanks a lot for your interest in Stream Saver! It’s a great feature and I can understand the want to benefit from it. I would love to share some information with you to resolve this matter. Let’s get started!

Lines of service currently on the Mobile Share Advantage and AT&T Unlimited Data plans are eligible to use Stream Saver. New GoPhone activations and rate plan changes are eligible as well. Since you are currently on a grandfathered Mobile Share Value plan, Stream Saver will be available to your lines of service later on in 2017.

You can switch plans if you’d like, or you can await the arrival of Steam Saver for your specific plan. The feature will be automatically added. Once completed, you can manage it on your myAT&T account. We also have a great article online which provides the answers to some frequently asked questions.

I hope you found this informative! Have a good one!

Thanks for the info. It would probably be helpful if your support people had that info as the lady I spoke to did not have that info and told me it would be unavailable unless I switched plans.

Thanks again

It would make a LOT of sense to have that available in accounts on the page where you can see stream saver is NOT working.  It could remove LOTS of frustration, confusion and phone calls...

Instead of this information:

Screen Shot 2017-02-20 at 9.16.39 PM.pngit could say

"Click here to see why your plan or device isn't eligible for Stream Saver right now.

and then link to some USEFUL info.

How hard would/could that be???
