When you mention that the “second half” of the message is changed, does this happen when the message is rather long and divides the message into two but delivers the second half first?
AT&T does not intercept the text messaging content that is being sent from your device.
It is possible that the message was sent out of order after it was split into multiple messages. The stock messaging application on the majority of devices can only handle 160 characters per message before it splits.
This has been happening to me as well. No, the messages were not long enough to be sent in two sections. Also, some messages were received hours after they were sent, and sometimes never received at all, but they are marked as sent. Why is this happening? This isn't the first time, and sometimes we laugh, other times, it really causes problems.
