Marking text message as read on Messenger app
I just switched to at&t from Verizon. I installed the messenger app which kept all of my old texts. There are a couple showing as unread and I can't figure out how to change them to read. Otherwise it keeps looking like there are new messages. Thanks so much for any help!

Thank you for reaching out to us here on the Community Forums! I understand how concerning it can be with your messages not showing as read. It would be a pleasure to assist in getting this resolved!
To start, the first thing we will want to make sure is you are running on the latest version. This can be checked in your Google Play Store, to see if there are any updates available.
The next step I would suggest is attempting to clear the cache and data for the app. Please go into your Settings under Application Manager (may also be listed as App Manager or Apps), select the AT&T Messages app, then Clear Cache, Clear Data, and Force Stop the app. After this, please go back into the app and mark the messages as read. After this they should stay read with no new messages waiting.
