MMS Size Limit
I send emails to my boss on a daily basis, he works from the road, I work in the office, this is our main form of contact to share information. When sending emails, I send them to his email account, as well as his phone number directly by adding mms.att.net after his phone number in the recipient field. Is the size limit he can recieve on his phone in fact 1MB? Has this always been the size allowance for sending a message directly from my email to his phone? Is ther any way to increase this limit by paying extra?

Hello there @Brzostek2017!
Welcome to our Community Forums! We are glad to assist you with your inquiry today. Let’s get started on the message size information. I can understand the need to send bigger files over email as a text.
When it comes to Multimedia Messages such as email or picture, the supported size has always been set to 1MB. However device limitations may restrict MMS message size to a smaller size before allowing the picture to send. At this time the size is set to what our network is able to support.
I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any other concerns, please feel free to let us know! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend and take care.

Hello there @KnoxRTP!
Thank you for joining us in the Community Forums! We always like our community members to provide their feedback as well.
If you have Advanced Messaging, the allowed size is up to 10MB. This is only allowed when Advanced Messaging is enabled; however the message may still constrict to 1MB for faster delivery and quality, yet open to its original size upon opening.
Let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns. We are always available for assistance!

he size limit for MMS messages can vary depending on the carrier and the recipient's phone model. In general, the maximum size for an MMS message is around 1MB, but some carriers may allow larger sizes, up to 10MB in some cases.
It is possible that your boss's carrier has a 1MB limit for MMS messages, but you should check with their carrier to confirm. Some carriers may also charge additional fees for sending larger MMS messages or offer a separate service for sending large files.
Alternatively, you may want to consider using a different method of communication for sharing large files, such as a cloud storage service like Google Drive or Dropbox, or a file transfer service like WeTransfer. These services allow you to share files that are larger than the typical MMS size limit and can be accessed from any device with an internet connection.
