Friend on Straight Talk won't recieve my SMS, but does receive MMS and calls.

I just switched to AT&T from Verizen. Friend is on Straight Talk. Friend never had issues with not getting my texts before now. Now, since switching to AT&T, friend does not receive any SMS from me, only receives MMS and calls. My receive my friends's SMS's fine.

We are only 2 miles apart and we even tested in the same room with each other.

Anyone else experienced this before?

That is so strange!

Do you know if your friend is able to receive SMS messages from other AT&T users? Did you bring your Verizon device from AT&T? What types of devices are both of you using?

Please have your friend check their messaging spam/block settings just to make sure they didn’t accidentally block you coincidentally around the same time that you switched carriers.
