Blackberry Priv No Service Issues
I thought something was wrong with my priv and asked for a replacement priv and got an S7 in the mail silently.
Basically when set with LTE enabled privs do not get good reception.
What is At&Ts statement on this? I want to keep my priv.
This is the Blackberry Kbase article with no resolution:

This is the definitive Crackberry thread on the issue

Hi @cnoffsin!
Getting a no service message is a frustrating experience and I absolutely understand wanting to keep your Priv!
Yes, this is a known issue that is happening on some BlackBerry Priv’s that affects devices operating Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.
Right now this is under investigation between AT&T and BlackBerry. While we do not have a solution at this time, restarting your BlackBerry may restore cellular connectivity.
We are working diligently with them to come up with a resolution as quickly as possible.
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thank you!

You and I are totally on the same page.
I had to accept the S7 because I am on call and needed service and I know its a great phone for some people, but I can't stand it. I miss my priv and I freakin hate how this has been handled by ATT and Blackberry.

Hi there, @atlengineer, and @cnoffsin!
I absolutely understand not wanting to give your PRIV. At this time we are still working with Blackberry to get the issue resolved.
If you’ve not done so, I would recommend factory resetting the phone. Typically doing a reset will resolve many issues and could potentially help. It never hurts to try it.
You can check out our Device Support center for steps. Once there, please click on Backup & Restore for steps on backing up your valuable data, then select Troubleshooting > Reset Device for steps to factory reset the PRIV.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

I too am pretty disappointed in AT&T and Blackberry for letting this linger so long. Neither AT&T nor Blackberry has come up with a workaround, that task fell to someone on Crackberry.com, to turn off LTE via either a key entry sequence (*#*#4636#*#*), or using the "4G Switcher" app. Neither company has polished their image by this big goof. (Priv on OS 6.0.1)

@ATTCares
Spare us the Factory reset suggestion.
I am a systems engineer. I know that this was a network change that either blackberry's firmware/radio or software was not able to handle.
This is evident becaus switching off LTE makes the network connection stable.
You are wasting our time with that statement.

Seriously unhappy with AT&T once again. Your automatic updates thrashed my galaxy to the point your customer service rep said "sorry we've had that happen to thousands of phones send it back"..so I went a week without a phone waiting for a replacement...Now I buy a Blackberry Priv (which I loved for three weeks)...and you had another OS update which I DID NOT WANT NOR ACCEPT- IT WENT THROUGH AUTOMATICALLY....and now my phone is garbage....it keeps going into 'no service'...dropping calls...missing messages....leaving me stranded in the middle of frickin nowhere because the map app went blank when once again your stupid update caused it to say 'no service'....and I go on the forums and wow...it turns out your latest stupid unneeded update has also thrashed the new i-phones and blackberry's completely...so the phones only work if you have to keep shutting them down and rebooting...oh well that's safe when your driving down a dark rode hauling a trailer and the map app crashes because of your stupid update because I really want want to take my hands off the wheel and the stick shift to restart my phone for the sixth time in an hour. The best part? Sitting on hold this morning for thirty minutes not moving one inch to get a real live person on the phone and while somebody tells me "yes we are sorry we've had a ton of complaints in the past few weeks...let me look up your account"....I LOSE SERVICE AND THE CALL GOES POOF! So I am sending the phone back to you. I am going to Verizon after 24 years with AT&T. This will serve as my only notice since I can't get the phone to stay in service long enough to talk to somebody.

I completely agree with you switching to Verizon. I am doing the same after 9 years. Especially when At&t tells you "I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do in regards to the billing." Even though I was not getting service????!!! they kept telling I had to call Blackberry and deal with them since it was a blackberry phone. I went back and forth with these two companies until I got a competent person at blackberry who told me to file a claim with at&t to replace my phone because they have insurance for these matters. Blackberry made it clear it's At&T who had to help me because they are my service provider and I bought the phone through them as well. I decided to move to verizon.
