I have an iPhone 5s and my husband has an iPhone 6. He wants to give me his phone and my account is through work. Do I need to take the phones to an at&t store with the account holder to switch?

No. Just move your SIM card from the 5s to the 6.

And do a full backup and restore so your info gets on the other phone.

What other people said, but make sure your husband turns off “Find My iPhone” before he gives his phone to you. Ortherwise it will not work correctly
