iPhone 8

I am waiting to find out if the iPhone 8 will have a earphone jack to decide if I buy it. If not, I'm thinking of dumping my smartphone and just getting a prepaid one for cheap and discontinuing at&t service altogether. I don't like the droid phones at all and my iPhone 6 has been nothing but problems and the no questions asked warranty that I paid on for two years with at&t is a joke. My phone is finally paid off as of this last month. My battery said it needed servicing for about a year now and needs to be constantly plugged in to work. AT&T said they wouldn't fix the battery even though I bought the no questions asked to replace warranty. Trust me that was a waste of money and will never be bought again. Ever. Do you know if the 8 will be as awful as the 6s or without a jack like the 7?
