What different methods can unlock the screen on the iphone xs max? Other than face ID.
On the iphone xs max I do not want to use face ID to unlock the screen...what other methods can be used? For instance, is it possible to pick up the phone and have the home screen appear?

If you desire not to use Face ID it’s possible to disable the feature to unlock your phone by navigating to Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Use Face ID, and disable iPhone Unlock.

The other option to Face ID is using the passcode, which has to be manually typed in every time you want to unlock the phone.

@jadanking123 There is no Touch ID option on an iPhone X or XS as you need a physical home button for that method. The X and XS are Face ID and/or passcode only.
