Visual Voicemail not showing received messages on iphone 8
I just received my iphone 8 with the ios 11. My visual voicemail does not show received messages. My local AT&T store sent me to the Apple store and after working with them an hour, multiple system restarts, they told me to contact you directly. I need to know when I have messages, I can not keep calling #1 and checking for them. Is there a fix? I am really happy with the 8, I just really need to know when I get messages. Thank you.

Hello @flightrnjosie,
Welcome to the Community Forums! I’m glad to know you’re happy with the iPhone 8, and would be more than willing to help you with your Visual Voicemail.
Resetting your network settings is a great way to troubleshoot any service related issue. To do this, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Your device will automatically restart, and you’ll need to re-enter your Wi-Fi password to connect to Wi-Fi.
Removing and reinserting your SIM card is another useful method of troubleshooting network related issues. For instructions on how to do this, use our Device Support Tool. Choose your phone, then go to Learn how to use > About your device > Insert SIM/Phone Assembly. Ensure your device is completely powered off before removing the SIM.
Have you tried the Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool? If not, I highly recommend it. Just like before, choose your device then select Voicemail under Service/network issues. You will be given a resolution after you answered all the questions.
If you need any more assistance, please let us know. Have a wonderful rest of your week!
