@lexi495 Not through AT&T. Apple's messages is just data they pushed around. Unless the message got sent as a text, but then I'm still under the impression that AT&T doesn't keep the texts unless you sign up for the messages.att.net service.
Not certain how long Apple keeps iMessages. Unless you mean Facebook messenger, again it'd be how long they keep it.
Or how long the person you sent them to keeps them. Or if they signed up for other services. Or what devices that your devices get backed up to. Is your iPhone backed up in the cloud? On iTunes on a computer? Is the other person's backed up?
So the moral (lesson) is, don't send anything you don't want found out later if you might get a subpoena...
