Non stolen phone

My husband who is mad at me reported my phone as stolen. I am not even on his same plan. He bought the phone for me outright as a gift last year. It's telling me the phone was reported stolen bc I cannot use data. What can I do?

Hi @fygurl72

Thank you for posting about this on the Community Forums! I am elated to look further into this for you.

I am sorry your phone is not allowing you to use data and that it’s telling you its reported stolen. I can check to verify this if you can please send me a private message containing the IMEI and your full name and account number to @ATTCares. Thank you!

Have a great rest of your day!

@fyrgurl72 Have the person's whose plan it IS on:

  • change their password for their plan.
  • have them contact AT&T and report it as not stolen
  • have them report your husband for hacking/fraud.
