My iPhone 6 cracked

Question

I cracked my iPhone 6 while it was in a otter box. My fingers were slippery from the popcorn I had and it slipped out of my hand and landed screen first in the otter box. I have a one year warranty on it so can I get it fixed for free?

Warranty only covers mechanical defects and faults in the phone due to a manufacturing issue. Physical damage such as broken screens, damaged charge ports and water damage void the warranty. If you have insurance you can get a replacement through insurance or check and see if OtterBox offers any kind of guarantee.

I think i have a damaged charge port, but ive always used samsung charger. Phone has not been misused in anyway

If the port is damaged, i did not damage it. It does not seem to fit properly and im using correct mfg charger

Don't hijack another post that has nothing to do with your post. Go to Samsung Experience desk at nearest Best Buy. Have them take a look at your phone. They will let you know if it is covered under warranty or is user damage.
