I have unlimited choice, cannot use my phone as a hotspot for my daughters two iPads. What is my alternative so they can use their iPads when we are in the car or away from home

Move to Unlimited Plus or another tiered plan that supports hotspot. Basically the only plans that CANNOT use tethering are Unlimited Choice and older, retried unlimited plans.
Unlimited Plus and all Mobile Share Value plans allow tethering/hotspot usage. 🙂

The plans did expand a couple months ago to include unlimited choice in both the $25 video discount and the use of mobile hotspots and connected car devices and the wireless home phone with internet. (Originally not included were mobile hotspots)
