remove Drive Mode

Hello @KAEmme,
Drive Mode is a great app for staying hands free but I can understand completely how bothersome it is to have it always on. I would be happy to help you get this fixed.
With the phone powered off, please remove the battery and wait about 10 seconds before replacing the power and powering it back on. This is called a soft reset and will not clear out any personal information.
If the issue persists you should be able to disable the app by going Settings > Apps > Drivemode > Disable.
If the issue persists you may need to do a Factory reset. Make sure to back up your information first. You can find out how to do this on our Device Support page. Make sure your device is selected then go Tutorials > Backup & reset.

How can I tell which mode DriveMode is in.
On home screen it shows green on button to the right but beneath it it shows Manual Mode
