"No data service temporarily not offered..." error
My wife and I both have a Galaxy s8 and we both get this error message: No Data Service, Temporarily not offered by your service provider at your location. It only happens in the vicinity of our house. It is intermittent, but once it starts, we get the error notification continuously. Sometimes every 5 to 10 seconds. I say "vicinity of our home" because I sometimes get it driving past our neighborhood or in the grocery a quarter mile away. Never anywhere else.
There doesn't seem to be a definitive answer on the Internet that I've been able to find.
I've restarted, removed and cleaned the SIM. Turned off every network-related option I can find. To add insult to injury, the notification goes away so fast, it's almost impossible to snooze it.

The Problem
Phone: Galaxy S7 Android ver: 8.0.0 Samsung Experience ver: 9.0 Baseband ver: G930UUES4CRH2
With last two system upgrades a Notification tone sounded every 10 seconds when the Wi-Fi signal became weak or slow. Unfortunately, both the Notification and the dialog box it opened and the specific notification category page that opened, quickly disappeared (auto cleared). So if you are fast you can use the fix below.
When you see or hear the notification
"! Phone"
"No data service"
"Temporarily not offered by the mobile network at your ...."
Press on the notification itself, which opens the following message:
"! Phone"
"Alerts"
"Allow notifications from this category"
Press the " Details " Box in the above message to open the Notification Category:
< Notification Categories
"Alerts"
"Phone"

Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile networks more quickly when the Wi-Fi signal is weak.
Keep Mobile data turned on
Keep mobile data turned on at all times, even while the Wi-Fi is in use, to make it quicker to switch networks.
Changed both to: Off, if On
Hopefully one of these will work for you, my notification problem is gone.

them on my account, but I'd like to know if it is an Android issue, or a
Samsung issue. I am willing to move to iPhone just because very intrusive,
annoying message.

I just updated my S7 a couple of days ago - running Android 8.0, Samsung Experience 9.0, Kernel 3.18.71-14306562... and for the first time ever I began receiving this message. Please advise when fix is available!
