problem playing music over bluetooth in my car HTC one X plus

I have this weird problem while playing music in my car over bluetooth on HTC one X plus. Quite often (not always) the phone will start skipping songs. It'll play 8-10 seconds of the song and then move on to the next song and so on. If I reset bluetooth or restart the phone sometimes the problem goes away. I've not noticed this problem if not using bluetooth in my car. I've had various iphones in the past and had no issues whatsoever playing music over bluetooth in my car, so wondering what is going on. Has anyone else faced a similar issue or any suggestions I can try?

Sometimes there is a feature in cars or phones that will only play the first 10 seconds of a song, which might accidentally get switched on.

Another idea is that there is some kind of error in the song files.

Also, sometimes the car's software needs to be updated. For my car, I can go to the manufacturer's website and download the update to a zip drive or CD and update your car's software.

Hope this helps!
