To update a phone using AT&T’s Over the Air update the device must meet the following requirements.
AT&T branded
Connect to AT&T towers
Wi-Fi Connection
Sufficient battery/memory
IMEI updated in our system
As long as it meets the above requirements, let’s try manually checking for an update. Please visit our Device Support page. Make sure your device is selected, and then towards the bottom of the page click on Software updates. Please use the tutorials to check for updates.
If you continue running into issues, please try our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. Make sure your device is still selected, and then for the issue choose Software update. Please run through all the steps completely.
