Just got a Tablet from ebay, ASUS ME375CL, tried to unlock but says still in contract, I want to pay the balance so I can unlock it and use it

If the seller said it could be unlocked then complain and ask for return. If that wasn't a part of the sale, nothing can be done.
ATT can't help you and will not tell you anything.

@tomas4747 Sorry, you can't pay the balance if you don't know whose plan it is and have the info you need to pay...

eBay has a dispute process. Find the HELP link on their web page. If the tablet was supposed to be paid off, you can request a refund. If the seller won't comply, eBay will hold up their payment.
