Phone has been paid off but ATT Unlock request form says it is not paid off

I paid off my phone over a week ago because I need to take it on a trip abroad. I plan on getting a local SIM card. When I fill out the form to request the unlock code I keep getting the same message:

This device isn’t eligible to be unlocked now because all of the installment payments have not been paid.
Log in to your account to check your payoff information and pay the installments online.
You can submit a new request 24 hours after you make the payment.

I am on a family plan and the account holder has already called ATT twice. The first time she was on the phone with them for over an hour and they finally said that the person at the ATT store put my payment towards the wrong line. The account holder paid off the phone again and we were told to wait the 24 hours to try. Again, we got the same error. This time when we called the customer service agent just told us to try again in two days. I am leaving to go abroad tomorrow morning and NEED my phone unlocked. What is the point of paying it off early if I can't get it unlocked. It's ridiculous. Is there some way I can get my unlock code ASAP?

Hello @vinale226,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Community Forums! I am sorry to hear you are having issues getting your device unlocked. I understand how important it is to be able to use your device freely.

Please send us a private message to: @ATTCares with your full name, wireless account number, phone number and IMEI number. With this information, we can look further into this and ensure a resolution is provided.

I look forward to working with you. Have an awesome weekend!
