Numbersync 200 or 500 error on galaxy tab e

I have a galaxy tab e and when I try to validate my E911 address, for numbersync , I get either a 200 error or a 500 error. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Hey @cliftongreen01, We hear you, and let's share the information you need about NumberSync.

Unless your device is originally an AT&T Samsung Device, it is unlikely it will function correctly with number sync.

  • Is the phone an AT&T branded device?
  • Is HD voice and advanced calling on and available in your area?
  • Have you created an Access ID?
  • Have you changed the password for the access ID? (that seems to resolve most issues)

The 500 Error you’re receiving could be due to the fact your device is not recognizing the E911 address, or the one found is not valid.

The information given to you for the NumberSync is correct. We provided an article that will show you how to set up NumberSync. If you can answer yes to all of the questions above then you should be able to complete the Number sync process successfully.

Check out this article NumberSync FAQ. You can find all the information needed and troubleshooting tips within this article provided.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach back out.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community & Forums,

If you're encountering a Numbersync 200 or 500 error on your Galaxy Tab E when attempting to validate your E911 address, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

  1. Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your Galaxy Tab E has a stable and active internet connection. Try opening a web browser and visiting a website to confirm connectivity.

  2. Clear Cache and Cookies: Clear the cache and cookies of the browser you are using to validate the E911 address. This can be done in the browser settings.

  3. Retry the Validation: Sometimes, errors can be transient. Retry the E911 address validation after a short period, ensuring all details are entered correctly.

  4. Update Browser or App: If you're using a specific app for E911 validation, make sure it's updated to the latest version. Similarly, ensure that your browser is up to date.

  5. Restart the Device: A simple restart can often resolve temporary glitches. Turn off your Galaxy Tab E, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
