I am completely in love with my G Pad. I have one of the smaller models, but I really like the features of the 10.1. I would love to look into the update status for Nougat!
As this time, the LG G Pad 10.1 is running Marshmallow 6.0. Based on the information I have, the last update was in August. I did not find any information about a release date, or news regarding Nougat.
I do know there are many of us waiting for any information about the update, and I always recommend checking out the Device Support page for the newest details we have about the tablets. When you reach the page, make sure the device matches yours and click Tutorials. If you scroll down the page, you will see Software Updates.
