Battery Replacement for Galaxy S7

My Samsung Galaxy S7 shut off randomly in the middle of a phone call last night and will not power on even after a hard reset. This has been going on for a while roughly a few months after I purchased this phone. I contacted customer service and they said it was likely that the battery in my phone needs to be replaced. SIM card was already replaced a few months ago in an attempt to resolve the issue of randomly shutting off and freezing and I dropped and cracked the back of my phone a few months ago as well. Does anyone know what the cost of replacing the battery would be or if it is worth it to just get a new phone?

Having the phone power off randomly can be very concerning.  I will be more than happy to help get the information for you!


After researching into this for you, I have found a great article on how to file for an insurance claim as well as deductible estimates!  The cost depends on various factors such as how long you have had the phone and how long it has been since you made the last insurance claim.
