App Drawer Update on LG G5

Thanks for reaching out to us about the App Drawer update! LG has recently released this by popular demand, and I’m sure you’re eager to get it back!

If you go to Settings > System > About Phone > Update Center, do you see any options do download it? 

Let us know how it works out for you! It doesn’t appear we have any ETA or release dates specific to AT&T available at this time!

Sorry for the trouble you’ve been having with the app drawer! It’s definitely an important feature! My apologies for the parse error you’ve been receiving with Smart World! That would be frustrating!

When are you receiving that? During the install of Smart World, or the LG Home application perhaps? Do you have downloads from Unknown Sources enabled in your security settings?

Otherwise the .APK file you download may have been corrupted, in that case, you may try re-downloading the file!

Hi there,

I'm a non resident of US. I am using LG G5 H820. Recently, reading your solution, installed LG Smart World but can't find LG Home 4.0. Any suggestions??

Thanks a lot for coming to this thread to provide some additional info! I know it’s easier to have your app drawer on your Home screen. I would be more than happy to assist you further with this matter!

You can search LG Home 4.0 from the LG SmartWorld app, which is LG’s own app store. You can also use this link to download it. LG Home 4.0 should revert to a more traditional style Android launcher. If you continue to have trouble, I would recommend contacting LG Support. They even have a convenient online chat with agents who are ready to help!
