Traveling to Mexico

I will be traveling to Cancun, Mexico for 1 week. What is the cost difference between purchasing a 1 time Passport plan vs pay per use for voice and text? I plan to send approximately 25 text and approximately 3 calls at 5 minutes each.

If you have a mobile share plan of 10GB or higher, It won't cost you anything if you add the free Roam Mexico option to your line. Otherwise, the cost for calls from Mexico is $1/min whether you have the $30 plan or not so for you the plan would really only cover your texting plus give you a little bit of data. Without a plan, each sent text is $0.50. Incoming texts are free.
