Changes to calling to Mexico

Cell Phone.jpg

Effective, August 3, 2019, dialing a Mexico wireless number is changing by removing the "1" prefix, matching the same way you would dial a Mexico wired line. This is a worldwide change affecting all wireless carriers.

For the first 30 days, calls will work when using the extra "1" but on September 2, 2019, they will no longer go through when dialing the old way.

What Do I need to Do

  • Be sure to stop dialing the number "1" before the 10-digit mobile number.
  • Update the number in your contacts list so the calls will go through.
