How do I get someone's attention on an ongoing landline phone problem?

I am writing this for my 95 year old mother ****.  She has been a loyal customer for over 63 years.  I don't believe in the first 60 years she has had more phone service issues except in case of power outages than she has had in the last 4 years. Her phone service has been down repeatedly.  The last time has been twice in the last 3 weeks.  I can't tell you how aggravating and dangerous this is.  She lives on her own.  Her personal and property security system is tied to this landline.  The fact that after she reports it she has to wait days to have service restored is insane.  They give her the same response: Others in the area are also experiencing the same problem.  What kind of answer is this? FIX IT.  I realize you probably don't want to be bothered with landlines anymore.  Well, too bad. People still have and need them.  We really don't want to switch carriers, but we cannot continue to have our family thrown into a panic when we can't contact our mother.  I don't understand this.  Years of this problem.

Either you get to the bottom of this, tell us you don't want our service anymore (and by the way, if she leaves, we all leave), or for the love of God fix it.  Quit giving lazy excuses.  You are a technology giant for God's sake.

Hi @michigancity,

Let's get your mother's landline back up and running. To fully assist with this issue further, we will need to look over your account in more detail.
I am sending you a private message (PM) to help in this matter. Please check your forums private messages by clicking the Forums Inbox. Locate the PM from ATTCares and reply to my message with your specific account details.
I look forward to your response and the opportunity to help you!
