Hi, @Cruzeiro6.
You've come to the right place, we can help you with your spoofing concerns. The goal of the spoofer is to get you to answer the phone or text, opening the door for a cam that asks for your personal or accounts information. We advise that you do not provide them with any information. Here are some tips you can use to protect yourself:
If you believe you are the victim of fraud related to your AT&T account, contact the Fraud Department at 800-337-5373.

There really isn’t anything you can do about it. You can report it to the FCC but that won’t stop it. Since it is not possible for your own number to call you, the best thing is not to answer. I don’t answer any call from numbers I don’t recognize, they are almost always telemarketers or scammers.

Yes common problem. You can report to the FCC or call the AT&T fraud department listed above. My guess is they've stopped using your number by now, they don't use the same one long.

The issue was not my own # calling me. It was that the scammers are using name and telephone # to call others.

Hello! I am a long-term telephone customer of at&t US company, so I trust the AT&T service in Mexico, I bought the phone: ****, registered name: WEILI ZHENG;
However, Mr. Carlos, your sales director at AT&T in Mexico City, used my trust in AT&T. On May 6 this year, at the AT&T mobile phone store, I recommended a package of 150 pesos per 28 days and sold it to me. Commitment to this package is available for roaming in the US and Canada and does not require any additional fees.
I clearly told Mr. Carlos that I am leaving Mexico City to return to Vancouver, Canada. It is estimated that I will return to Mexico in one year. I have paid a full year of package fees for a total of 1800 pesos for him.
After he got the full phone bill I gave to AT&T, regrettable and angry things happened one after another:
1. Carlos didn't give me a receipt of 1800 pesos after receiving my cash call at 4:00 PM on May 6th. I didn't deposit the money into AT&T's mobile account, but myself. The interception is based on it.
2. Because he did not pay me a phone bill, it directly caused me to stop on May 7 (he thought I had left Mexico, there is no way to pursue him). I went to the mobile phone shop to negotiate with him. He only paid me a mobile phone fee of 150 yuan a month. The remaining 1,650 yuan is still in his private pocket. I asked him to provide a receipt for payment. He said that he can only provide it one month a month. The phone receipt, and said that she can only provide a receipt of 200 pesos per month (see photo), they can not provide a receipt for each 28-day payment of 150 yuan package. Finally, under my doubts and requests, he handwritten a receipt to me.
3. After I returned to Vancouver, I found that the 150 yuan package he sold to me did not provide roaming service in Canada. I asked him to correct it. He delayed it for various reasons and interfaces until now.
4. I repeatedly asked him to deposit the phone bill that I gave to AT&T to my account. He just did not do it and refused to pick up the phone.
5. Mr. Carlos, as the AT&T sales executive, deceived the customer and caused me a very serious job loss. Our Canadian and American customers have no way to contact me for more than two weeks...
......
Please ask the leaders of AT&T in Mexico to investigate the truth in time, compensate for the losses caused by this, correct the mistakes, and ensure that I use the work phone as soon as possible! Maintain a good image among customers!
thank you all!
AT&T's many years of loyal users
Your sincerity
