Unable to access roaming data in Canada

Hi AT&T I have purchased a $45 GoPhone plan - just arrived in Vancouver and I'm unable to access data. Have checked data roaming but no luck

What brand of phone you have ?
Did you turn off Airplane mode?
How old is your AT&T SIM card? Over 18 months old may not work well on roaming!
Did you roaming with Rogers wireless?
Did you got an R before the signal bar?
Where are you in Vancouver? If you are in the Airport (YVR) or The Cruise ship port (Canada place),the network could be busy sometime.
