Xbox One and COD: Modern Warfare (URGENT)

I live in a rural area in Kentucky. The only way I could get WiFi with decent speed is to go with AT&T's fixed internet. A tower was built close to my home, and the dish is pointed at said tower. My stepson and I like to play online games on our Xbox One and PS4. We recently bought COD:MW with no initial problems playing online. Now, we are constantly getting kicked and disconnected from the server. I don't know if this is Activision based or Xbox...anyways..here's what my thing says when I check my network status.

NAT Type: Strict

UPnP not successful

xbox.com/xboxone/UPnP

My googling has lead me to believe that I need an open NAT type? How do I, if I can, go about changing that on my router? Talk simple to me...I'm not computer or tech savvy anymore.
