Residential Gateway Behind Residential Gateway

Hello I wanted to know if two residential gateways can be run like a router behind router.

I just recieved one of your newest routers and I wanted to put the old router (3801HGV) on the other side of my house. I have a sling which sends the signal over power line then converts it to Ethernet cable. Is it possible.

No.  The Gateway needs to communicate directly to the AT&T gear upstream and will not function properly otherwise.  You can acquire a relatively inexpensive (here's one option that is less than $20 as I write this) wireless router and use it as an access point located as far away from your Gateway as you can reach an Ethernet cable.
