SBC login

I received a request from sbcglobal for account deactivation .The request was on March 15 2018. It asks for my password to keep the account from being deactivated.

I did not request my account to be deactavated and I will not send my password to the email.

I logged out of the email and shut down the computer and then restarted it twice. Then I logged in with my password. The email was in the spam folder.

Please do not shut down my email. Please let me know if this is a new scam.

Thank you gl74

It asks for my password...

Which should have been an immediate tip off that was a phishing email.  Your the 4th one to post one of these threads today (I'm keeping count).  Some stupid idiot apparently phishing for passwords.   Don't click any links and just trash it.
