old M cell tower

i have the older model M cell tower. can I use it without charge ?

@Ductbust - you can use any MicroCell, white or black model, if you have a post paid AT&T cellular account. If you purchased it used, you need to make sure that the previous owner properly deactivated the unit otherwise you will have problems registering and activating it. There is a section in my Tech Guide on purchasing used MicroCell's as well as the minimum requirements (see link in my sig). The MicroCell is designed for land-based internet service only (DSL or cable). It will work with satellite or wireless broadband internet service but the connection is unreliable and as such is not supported by AT&T or us.

 

There is no charge to use the MicroCell outside of the initial purchase price. Your data usage is calculated the same as if you were connected to a macrocell (tower).
