Wireless Billing Question - GROUP 2

On my AT&T bill there is something that I am being charged $30 a month for. It is called Group 2. Exactly what is Group 2. What's required to be in Group 2?? Is it because I have 2 devices? One of which I have been trying  to get removed from my bill. From my life forever? But, each device also has a separate monthly charge. What is this Group 2. It costs $30 to belong to a Group. And extra for each device?. I am very confused. Enlighten me somebody please. Also, I finally got the one device removed from my account. So, now do I belong to Group 1? Clarification is needed.

AT&T price it's plans online different from how it presents on the bill, the total comes out the same as advertised.

What you are seeing is the ala'carte pricing for your line access charge.

Group charges don't have anything to do with having multiple phones.  Your bill may continue to show Group 1 as your data plan and group 2 as your line charges.

The only way to remove a phone line is to call AT&T. I assume you have called and requested they cancel the line that you did not want.
