$94 late fee - can they do that??!!!
I had a payment that was past due for like 12 days, when i went to pay my bill i was told i had to pay about $94 on top of my bill - $5 late fee and $89 service fee. I talked to an ATT rep and they said they charged $89 to keep from disconneting my service.
Last time when i had an overdue payment another rep told me that they would disconnect the service, they didn't say anything about charging $89 to keep the service on. Can they do this or can i refute this charge, because if they'd asked me i would have chosen to have my service disconnected till i could make the payment!
