Trying to figure out what was installed on my property
My name is Riley (Edited as per community guidelines). I don’t know why it took me so long to reach out about this, but I am inquiring to find out what and why was there something installed on my property without my consent? I purchased the home in July 2020 and in the early summer months of 2021 AT&T chose to put what I can describe as a 3 foot tall cylinder In the middle of my property near the street without a peep. I’m not trying to be that person, but I’m also asking this so I can educate myself as well as figure out the answer because it wasn’t there when I purchased the house and was never told anything about it and would like to know the reasoning on how this was done. And if there’s no wrongdoing or rule bending here It may very well be possible as I at the moment do not have the answers I am seeking. Id love to hear a response about this, especially for future reference because one day all I know is I’m coming home from work attempting to park my huge service truck in the front of my property during one workday and I physically couldn’t because of this random cone being installed on my property honestly, I almost ran it over and probably would’ve been on the hook for it all even though I had no idea anything going on out there but like I said it’s been a while. project was done in 2021 about three years has passed and this area still doesn’t have, an imitation of having grass in this area because AT&T did such a sloppy job and didn’t bother to even spread seed or anything. Matter of fact, the material they used to attempt to grow grass back was some cheap mesh material that you roll on the ground, and hopefully it stays and actually starts growing grass. The material didn’t even last more than five days before it was already blowing where it wanted. I stopped chasing the fake grass and gave up hope. Not only was something done on my property without my knowledge, but the crew did a very shoddy job end of story

This is a public forum of other customers. Never post personal info (name, address, etc.) as you giving it ot the entire world.
For official support you call AT&T.
AT&T can install what they want and when within an easement. So if your property has that easement, they have right of way.

HI @Xriley20 that's not the experience we want you to have and want to help you with this. You follow the below steps and check if you're eligible for a property damage claim.
AT&T's claims are handled through Sedgwick, our claims administrator.
File a new claim
If you need to file a new claim, have the following information available:
Once you have the information together, call 1-800-288-2020 and ask to file a new claim.
If an AT&T representative has given you a claim number and you haven’t heard anything in 24 hours, or you’ve already filed a claim and want to follow up, call 855.462.6537 to check the status.
If you have any additional concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. Thank you for contacting us on AT&T Community Forums!
