On hold for 5 hours
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with customer service I can’t even explain how frustrated I am. Called 2x and waited an hour on both calls to just get the calls dropped once a rep answers called up the 3rd time waited an hour to speak to someone I needed a specialist and that took another 3 and a half hours on hold with the rep checking in on me every 5 minutes I had to give up I couldn’t take this anymore I had work the next day I had to get to bed I am now working on canceling my contract and returning to ANY carrier other than AT&T this is absolutely horrible and if this company can’t hire enough people they should consider bankruptcy or merge with another carrier I will never use AT&T again worst experience I ever had

Unfortunately they’ve been like this for a few years now. My experience was whenever they couldn’t help me or didn’t want to help me they disconnected me at that point. Would literally hang up on me for months on end and never was able to get help. I had numerous problems and me trying to get through to someone to help me resolve anything lasted for 2 to 6 months at a time. Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life even brought me to tears on a couple of occasions plus not to mention all the hours I lost from work AT&T tries to see that they get paid for every dime even when you don’t owe it but in reality they owe their consumers a ton of money for what they put them through and the amount of work missed and pain and suffering. I’ve contemplated a (Edited per community guidelines) against them many times and still might. Especially since other people are having the same problems and nothing is being done. it’s consumer (Edited per community guidelines) at its finest

Not when you’re a paralegal and have attorneys at your disposal. Trust me that won’t hold up in court. Not what they are doing. They forced me to put them in my bankruptcy to stop them and they are still trying to collect which is against federal law. The money they are trying to collect is from a mistake they made over a year ago and would never correct. Their foreign fcall-center has destroyed their business and they don’t care to do anything about it

You think your small team of lawyers can out litigate AT&T billion dollar a year lawyers? Good luck come back here with an I told you so. 14 years in the forums no one has come back with we successfully started a (Edited per community guidelines).

Give me a break I sue people for a living. And you’re ridiculous if you think that AT&T hasn’t had a ton of (Edited per community guidelines) as a matter fact they have a a ton right now. I’m not gonna argue with you about the law because you obviously know nothing about it. all you know is a forum that’s not the law.

And why in the (Edited per community guidelines) would you be in an AT&T forum for 14 years unless you were getting paid.

I originally signed up because I had an issue with my account before I was hired by AT&T. No one in here gets paid by AT&T except the official atthelp.

If you're being asked to pay a debt that was discharged in bankruptcy, a letter from the bankruptcy attorney should be all it would take to clear that up.
For other issues, the terms that all customers agree to limit customers to small claims court or binding arbitration, and the Supreme Court has ruled that that is enforceable. Nothing you've said, though, indicates that AT&T has done something actionable.
