holy crap ... myAT&T.com

I have been trying to logon to myAT&T.com for an hour ... your "chat Subject Matter Expert assistant" told me to "wipe" (factory reset) my mobile phone and start over.  I then got routed to a different Subject Matter Expert who kindly linked me with a service that asked for my credit card info so they could assist me.

Are you all NUTS?   I am just tyring to access the status of my family mobile account.  

You have obviously frigged up the login for the AT&T phone service when you spun off DirecTV.  It cant be that hard to explain to me what I need to do ... please help
