Firstnet email address change - how?

My email was leaked during this data breach.

I got some breakin attempts on my email account. I need to change it due to deleting my email account but I cannot do so in my online account.

I called firstnet customer service and was told that they cannot change it or give me access in my account to change it either.

So how can i change it?

Im currently out of country.

First time eh?

Why would you delete your email account rather than just secure it?   Sounds like you've locked yourself out of your account with no way to prove who you are.

By the way the data breach occurred prior to 2019. So if your information was leaked it was leaked 5 years ago and hackers have had access to it for 5 years. AT&T just notified you now.

Very unlikely that someone trying to get into your email today had anything to do with a breach and information that's been available since 2019.

There's no way for AT&T to verify this new email actually belongs to you, and you are not inside the USA so your contacting them from a foreign IP.

I expect you're not going to be able to correct this until you can appear in person with proper ID at an AT&T store for assistance.
