AT&T Business Customer

Hello,

We were an AT&T business internet user only and one day an AT&T business representative reached out to us and quoted us a price if we were to switch our wireless business over to AT&T and we'd also get a discount on our current fiber internet bill by switching as well.

We get several large bills and there doesn't appear to be any discount..we're told to wait 3 or 4 billing cycles for the discounts to take effect..ok we do that. Bill's are still triple what we were quoted and we never did get that discount on our internet as promised.

Countless calls to support...we get hung up on when we explain are situation or put on hold and eventually disconnected. We were once put on hold for 40 minutes before disconnecting. Finally get someone from the Business department who says she can help but if we agree to add another line she can get it even cheaper somehow...so ok we do that. Bill never lowers and we finally end up in an AT&T retail store...manager calls someone and cases are opened but I'm told that the business representatives should never have quoted us that price and they can get our bill lower eventually but not at the price we agree'd to in writing from AT&T. I feel like this is bait and switch. I know no one from AT&T can help us because we've dealt now with nearly 15 people..but just sharing this experience in the hopes it makes someone pause before moving their business to AT&T.

I've called you a number of times. I strongly believe this is how you get new customers. Make promises in writings and contracts to get them to switch over then don't honor those once you have the customer. If you had actually taken the time to read my email you would have seen I've contacted support a number of times. It was only when I went into a retail store and made an issue of it I got help.

Your automated response is just further proof that AT&T is not a business solution but a business scam.

Whether or not it's an automated response is not relevant. You have posted and consumer side of the forum. It is populated by other customers. The only response you get from AT&T in this part of the forum is to contact them directly, or to switch to the business forum. The link was provided, here is the link active

Since you got whatever problems you had resolved to your satisfaction it doesn't sound like it was a very good "scam " 🤨

Nothing was resolved. I was sold a fake offer to get us to switch. We didn’t save money. It’s about the same.
