Activating and transferring number from another carrier

I just received 2 iPhones, LG Neon II, and Samsung Solstice II.  I was wondering what the process is to activate and transfer number for each phone.  The numbers are from another carrier.  Also, can I do this anytime (24 hr activation and number transfer service)?

numbers have to be active on other carrier, might have to get new sim cards for att, just call att porting dept. theyll need all your account info from other carrier, then theyll submit a request to them, can take 24hrs, usually done in 5 min,,,,

You needto call the Port team 888-898-7685 they open 9A-10P at Sunday's

Are there instructions on activating each phone?  Can I activate any time of day?

It will be thru a phone call for the activation while porting in 🙂

I called and tried activating my phones, but the system is unable to locate any of the wireless numbers I enter (4 numbers).  When the system prompted me to input my wireless number to activate, I am putting the wireless number I have currently on another carrier.  Is there another number I should be entering?
