It probably won't be coming back. It's only on DirecTV now since there's a continued contract between at&t and DirecTV for thre NFL Sunday Ticket.
Pretty soon there's going to be no channels to watch because AT&T will claim that it's making a "fair offer that's comparable to what other providers have paid" and in the end, the channel will simply be removed. I mean, NFL Network has been gone since mid April. It's possible that after this NFL season, there's not going to be NFL network on DirecTV either.
