U Verse signal keeps dropping

Our U Verse TV freezes, about 5 seconds later a red light flashes on the gateway and we get a U Verse Signal Lost error message. About a minute later the picture and sound return. This keeps happening multiple times per day. It happens while watching cable and streaming. Others in our neighborhood are having the same problem. Tried to find a way to get to talk with a human and don't see any. Went through all the trouble shooting paths and ended up nowhere! I tried rebooting the gateway and rebooting the receiver. Didn't help. Got to believe this is a U Verse issue since neighbors see the same problem.
