NFL Network & RedZone are gone
Can anyone, preferably from AT&T, tell me if NFL Network & RedZone are no longer being carried on U-verse? At 4:15pm today I tried to go to channels 1629 & 1630, but what I saw was a message saying “This channel is no longer carried” and there was a reference to TVpromise.org. First time I’ve ever seen that message. To me, that isn’t just that the NFL Network is offline with broadcast issues. It’s that U-verse has dropped those two channels. Anyone else have this issue or heard anything about it?

Why is U-verse not able to keep the NFL network when other ATT owned Cable providers such as Direct, able to keep it?

“We have a long history of working with our distribution partners to come to fair agreements,” an NFL Network spokesman said. “That said, in order to come to an agreement there must be a willingness to communicate, to exchange proposals, to sit down and negotiate.
“Unfortunately, as it pertains to AT&T, we never heard a word from them until NFL Network and NFL RedZone were pulled from the AT&T U-Verse and DTV Now services. We’re disappointed for all our fans who will miss out.”
Even though DirecTV satellite viewers with NFL Network (available to those with the Choice package and above) and RedZone (included with NFL Sunday Ticket Max) will not be affected, it's possible this disruption is collateral damage to a far greater potential battle brewing between AT&T and the NFL

Opinions of a company are subject to change also. AT&T seemingly has no clue how cheap and low class it appears, when it smugly continues to carry NFL Network on sister DirecTV, and now you've got a genius administrator entering this thread to point out that the NFL Draft will be available on other networks.
No kidding. And let me guess, when we miss out on other NFL Network programming that administrator will be nowhere to be found. Or perhaps he'll be pointing out that there is football on other networks. It's all the same, correct? What about other high profile events that are exclusive to NFL Network, like the NFL Scouting Combine or the Senior Bowl or the Pro Football Hall of Fame announcements? What will our gallant administrator say about them...tune to ESPN for a recap?
That, of course, is assuming that AT&T continues to carry ESPN. At this point I can't be overly confident. Within the past 6 months they have dropped 3 of my absolute favorites in Pac 12 Network, beIN Sports, and now NFL Network.
Sorry, I'll default to the statement from the NFL. No doubt that is the truth of the matter:

Where are we supposed to watch NFL Network exclusive content? The answer is not DirectTV where I am sure, eventually will be removed from that platform as well if this matter isn’t resolved.

The response from ATT that I can watch the draft on different stations is not the point and is condescending. I am actually attending the draft, but the draft is not the ONLY thing that the NFL Network broadcasts. Your customers are not stupid and we see what you are doing. I will be leaving your company.

It was incredible audacity for an administrator to wander in here and announce the draft is available on other networks. You would think he would sit back for just one second and recognize how condescending and insulting that was. But it demonstrates corporate thought process at highest level. They sit in those board meetings or conference calls and rationalize they can get away with anything. Customer best interests can't slot above profit.
