Loss of channels

AT&T has failed to properly prepare for the  anticipated end of contract negotiation with Nexstar - resulting in the loss of ABC station, a MAJOR network. This continues to happen, as in the past, when other channels were removed from the lineup - as your customers continue to pay increased costs in service. We set up another TV(purchased an antennae) that would give us this basic channel for the interim - assuming we will get the channel back at some time in the future!  I think it's time to contact other providers who can provide continuing service that we PAY for and don't get with AT&T.

Either way your customers lose out. I still get charged the same even if
I'm not getting those channel. And still can't watch what I want. Unfair
to your customers

Either way your customers lose out.

Not our customers. All responses you got are from other customers, not Directv.

Bummer!  One-off the reasons we have not YET cut the cord is because of football.

DirecTV is not blocking the game. It is just not shown on channels they currently carry, regardless of the reason. NFL controls blackout rules.

You may find the situation unfair, but DirecTV has done nothing against the rules and cannot change how blackouts work. Channels are subject to change as there is no guarantee of any channel always being available. Not owning the channels and having to negotiate their carriage terms is a big reason why all TV providers have this clause in their Terms of Service.

Once a year, I call the retentions/cancellations department to negotiate a better price.

I'm currently paying

$89 for U-300 with HD and HBO/Cinemax.

$20 for U-Verse home phone.

$30 for 100Mbps internet.

I was paying $40 for internet until about a week ago when I called back to see what they could do about the Nexstar dispute. They offered to lower that bill to $30 or raise my internet for no additional charge to 300 Mbps.

We as U-verse customers paid a lot for cable service and to not have NFL network is unacceptable, I have been a loyal customer for past ten years. You guys need to bring it back to U-verse.right It is not fair.If is not back by open of the NFL season , I will be going back to Specturm. I want the NFL now,,,

Dear DirecTV,

We will be dropping your service as soon as we can arrange for an alternative. Although we pay for the NFL Channel, tonight’s game vs the Chiefs is blacked out because WTAJ (Channel 10) is carrying the game. Unfortunately Channel 10 is not available because of a contract dispute with DirecTV. So since we will not be able to watch Steelers home games, we have to drop DirecTV. Goodbye.

Your provision for the channels, particularly the National Network channels, is a lot to be desired. It is now going on the better part of two months that we have not had service for the CBS stations. This is another case for my service to Spectrum. Plus I have not inquired on a refund on my account for not receiving credit for services that I am not receiving.

Stop sending me this e-mail. I just want a discount for this missing
channel for the rest of this contract.
