Cannot log into U-verse app on ipad

So I try to login to the U-verse app using my access ID.  Which is my email and which ATT send me when I click the "i forgot username" option. I will also add the message I get says I need to login with an email address even though that it my access id as well.  I can log into ATT using a web browser.  I am also given a member ID but I get the same type of error.  Does ATT actually let anyone use the U-verse app?  Is there a different password used for the u-verse app versus paying my bill online?

 

 

 

I deleted the app and got it again from the apple store to make sure I had the latest version.  Still no luck.

My experience is very similar, although I’ve been trying for nearly a month. I search the web for answers — and it is littered wits this exact problem. I’ve tried everything suggested by the polite ATT customer reps ... who never seem to solve anything.  It boggles the mind that so many people have trouble logging in to the ATT U-verse app. So many issues along this path I won’t get into here. ATT: hire actual information and interface designers, not just marketing hypers and coders. It should be simple: I have a myAT&T account. The email and PW work for me to log into that app on iOS. Yet when I go to U-verse, never ever ever works. Same UN and PW. Yes, reset both, delete/redownload app, clear caches (if possible), reboot device. I’m not convinced this service even works. It’s marketed. Sounds great. But I’ve never seen it work for anybody. In most cases, we have limited service provider choices OR we are foolish enough to actually trust ATT. I wonder: Is ATT messing with me because I ditched it for V on my devices because the service was less than, well, serviceable. ATT: Get your act together! Fix this! Oh, wait, you’re all powerful and I’m just (you get the idea).

I have been trying for nearly 2 months and still can't login. Same deal User login error. I have never gotten it to work, and I have tried everything the ATT CSR asked me to do. Still not able to login. What a joke!
