I called AT&T support, but promised equipment never arrived.

I called the AT&T help line and requested U-verse support. I told the agent that one of my U-verse remotes had quite a few buttons that had become unresponsive. The agent offered to send me a replacement, but it never arrived, and I never received any email or other confirmation that it would be sent. What do I have to do to be sure that what an agent tells me will happen actually happens?

Hi @llee040,

We understand your concern about U-verse remote, let us get the help you need.

The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns.  To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact Us page, and choose the best option to reach out to us.  You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support.  If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you.

Mike, Community Specialist.

Not sure there are any remotes to send as they are not on the website to purchase.

May need to order used or refurbished from ebay or Amazon or check Craigslist.

As ATT stopped offering Uverse IPTV service in March 2020 any equipment, especially remotes are going to be refurbished 4 years later.

Mike, I followed through with your instructions. The remote appears not to be available, as "my thoughts" surmized above. This is no solution.

Remotes take up to two weeks to arrive. Call in again and place new order, that you can follow along on Smart home manager app if it's been more than 2 weeks.

Thanks. Just missed Easter for your post. Your "aka" could be "a row of rabbits hopping backwards", but it works better when you say it than when it's written out (receding hare line).
